Bioconversion

Bioconversion or Biotransformation is the conversion of organic materials such as plant or animal waste into usable co-products or energy sources by biological processes or agents such as Black Soldier Flies - Hermetia Illucens.

Fairman Knight and Sons UK Limited are a Sustainable Family Farming Business that began in August 2023.

We are the Owner / Operator / Farmer of Commercial Scale Production Insect Farms that will produce thousands of tonnes of Black Soldier Flies each year by bioconverting organic waste.
We produce other co-products with the Black Soldier Flies: including Fertilizer and a range of Bio-oils.
Our business is Sustainable because of the circular economy philosophy we adopt. By the way we power our plants and the re-diversion of waste away from landfill we create a natural harbour of Emissions credits.

We believe that it is our business to look ahead and do all we can to ensure a cleaner world for all.
