Julian is a former RAF Pilot, after the RAF he has spent over 30 years of his career in Finance, notably as a Global Head at the world's largest Hedge Fund group, Man Group PLC and Societe Generale and Standard Chartered Bank. Whilst at Man Group he ran Global Cool, a campaign to solve global warming. He worked with the UK Government and traded some of the world's first Gold Standard Carbon Credits. 
He is currently Co-Founder and Principal of a US based Commodity Trading Adviser Brutus Trading LLC and Co-Founder of Fairman Knight and Sons.

William Fairman

William is a leading independent UK based Broiler Farmer. He has over 35 years experience as Head of Farming and Regional Farm Business Manager. William has worked for some of the largest UK Broiler Farm companies, namely PD Hook and Moy Park Ltd. He is a member of the elite Ross 440 club for EPEF. EPEF is an equation used to measure the technical performance of a broiler flock and takes into consideration the feed conversion ratio (FCR), live-ability (life expectancy), live weight and slaughter age of the bird.

Originally from Walton in Liverpool, Mark was educated at Liverpool’s Blue Coat School and Liverpool University where he obtained a BSC Hons in Applied Biology.  He subsequently studied at Harper Adams Agricultural University for a Post Graduate Degree in Agronomy and Crop Husbandry.
Mark entered the industry as an Agronomist with Schering Agriculture and during his 8 years with the company, progressed from Senior Agronomist to Group Accounts Manager.  He joined Cargill Agricultural Division in 1992 and became Regional Manager, Commercial Director and headed up the business as General Manager in 1998.  
Mark became Managing Director of Banks Cargill Agriculture following the merger with Banks Agriculture in 2001 and in 2005 became Managing Director of Frontier Agriculture Ltd having orchestrated the merger of Banks Cargill Agriculture and Allied Grain. He recently became Group Senior Executive Director at Frontier and is Chairman of several subsidiary Companies including Navara Oat Milling Limited. He is an Investor Director of the Holdings Company Board of Oxbury Bank.
 Frontier Agriculture is jointly owned by Cargill Inc and Associated British Foods and is a stand alone limited company with an annual turnover of £1.76b.  It employs 1100 people in 46 sites around the UK.  It is the UK’s leading grain trading business and crop inputs supplier, serving 14,000 UK farmers and the food industry.
 Mark is a Director of the Rutland Agricultural Society and in 2014 was awarded an Honorary Doctorate at Harper Adams University in recognition of his outstanding contribution to UK agriculture. 
He has one son and lives in Rutland, he is a supporter of Liverpool FC and keen salmon fly angler.

In his over thirty years as a practicing lawyer, Mr. Alter has had extensive global experience in both the public and private sectors. He served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York (as Acting and Deputy Chief of the Civil Division), Senior Advisor and Special Counsel to the New York State Attorney General, and General Counsel to the New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS).
From 2015 to 2017 Mr. Alter was an adjunct professor and senior fellow at New York University Law School where he was a resident member of the law faculty research and teaching program in corporate compliance and enforcement, focusing on financial services regulation. In 2014, Mr. Alter was selected by the New York State Commission on Judicial Nomination as one of seven candidates statewide for a seat on New York’s highest court, the Court of Appeals.
On the private side, Mr. Alter has been a litigation partner at a global firm. He has litigated cases at every level of US federal and New York State courts, involving important issues of constitutional, commercial, communications, banking, trusts and estates, and bankruptcy law. He is widely published on topics involving cryptocurrency and digital assets, and he has taught regulatory compliance as an adjunct professor at New York University Law School. He has also served as the first general counsel to the first Fintech-based trust company ever chartered in the United States.
 Mr. Alter received his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he was a Coker Fellow in Constitutional Law, and his B.A. from Columbia University, Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa.

Geoff has over 30 years of experience in the Food and Feed Processing Industry and in tandem spent the last 15 years assiting in Innovate UK Grant writing and as a Project Mentor and Assessor in the Agri and Food tech sectors for the UK Research Council.

Ed has over 25 years experience in developing brands. Holding Senior Sales Roles at Puma, L'Oreal, Oakley and Levi Strauss, he went on to found many of his own brands that are supplied to the UK's largest supermarkets. He has both a Masters Degree from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelors Degree.

With a strong academic foundation in pest management, biological control, and ecological modelling, he has worked with leading startups to scale Black Soldier Fly (BSF) farming operations. His expertise spans production management, R&D, process optimisation, and technical operations, making him a key driver of innovation in sustainable insect-based solutions. Passionate about bridging science and industry, Hatem brings a unique blend of technical insight, hands-on leadership, and global perspective to the team.

As Lead Designer for 12 years, Jade has collaborated with over 100 top brands, delivering premium food, alcohol, and accessory gifting solutions to national retailers, grocers, and high-street sectors.
